Countdown

Well, I will be heading off the BYU (Brigham Young University) on August 22nd. We'll be at the airport early for our flight. I am very excited to head off the BYU, and have been incredibly anxious this whole summer.

We will be in Sandy, Utah from the 22nd, until the morning of the 25th. While we are there, my mom will be visiting with her mother, and I will be doing some college shopping. Then on the 25th, we drive to Provo, Utah. Here I will buy any other last minute things, stop by the Commons @ the Cannon Center to get my job, and pick up the freshmen t-shirt order I put in. I can move into my dorm at 10:00 am on the 26th.

We have NSO (new student orientation) the 27th - 30th, and then school starts September 2nd.

I am still working in good old Springfield, Virginia. Currently I am a nanny for 3 children (Addie - 13 year old girl, Peter - 11 year old boy, and Leah - 6 year old girl). I am also a lifeguard for NVPools. And last of all, I teach private swim lessons to all ages.

I have only 6 days of my nanny job, which makes me so incredibly excited! I have to work today, Wednesday, and Thursday this week, and then I have Friday off. Then I work only Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday next week, and then my flight leaves Friday. Realizing I can almost count the days left on one hand, really makes me realize how happy I will be after those 6 days are over. The job has been good, and I've learned I am no way near ready to have children, and that being a mother is hard. But I really think this was a once in a lifetime learning experience. It was good while it lasted, but now its almost over, and I have never been so happy to be almost done with something in my entire life.

Well, I have to get back to work. Until August 22nd, when I am in Utah...

This is Jenna reminding you that "the sweetest thing, in the whole wide world, is a happy girl!"
